Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. From her teens the singer is a part of popular flamenco and music. She also explores other genres like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice as one that is sweet, with a traditional bite. El Mal Querer is her second album, released in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, got an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned a Latin Grammy nod. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on March 20, 2022, after the show on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the only solo performer in her first appearance on the show. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded The Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami and was the first female to win one.
